CAMRA: Colleyville Area Mineral Rights Association SPECIAL ISSUES
ONE WELL SITE NOISE SOLUTION
PLEASE DOWNLOAD AND VIEW THIS CLIP
Sound Barriers for Drilling Sites
The following video clip was produced by WFAA Channel 8 News. This video clip will help demonstrate one of the types of noise abatement technologies that are used during well site drilling. The number ONE concern expressed by homeowners when a well site is mentioned is noise during drilling. I would highly recommend that every CAMRA member download this video clip and view it in its entirety. This provides everyone the ability to see and hear then judge for themselves.

Issues and Concerns
The following link will take you to questions that were submitted by our CAMRA members. All questions were captured and presented as they were submitted. One question required rewriting and duplications were removed. Please note items that are referenced as being within the "Oil and Gas Lease" are being proposed to our prospective partners during contract negotiations and may or may not be accepted or agreed upon in its current form.
CAMRA MEMBERS PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING:
A Subordination Agreement May Be Required.
Some homeowners who sign leases with energy companies may be required to get a subordination agreement with their mortgage company before they may draw royalties. Of the companies who do require the subordination agreement, some are charging a fee. The Star Telegram has reported fees ranging from $75 to several hundred dollars. Please contact your mortgage company now and understand if they will require this agreement and if there is a charge. If your company does require the agreement and ONLY if there is a fee send an e-mail to grady.walker@tx.rr.com with the Subject line “SUBORDINATION FEE”. In the body of the e-mail provide your Name, address, lending institution and the amount. Each homeowner is responsible for their agreement and any charges. The information is being requested for informational purposes only. Be proactive and contact them this week.

GENERIC SUBORDINATION AGREEMENT DEFINITION:The subordination agreement simply states that it is "junior" to the senior debt.
Therefore, if a mortgage exists, the property owner (or one's legal counsel) may be required submit a mortgage subordination agreement, with a copy of the conservation easement deed, to each mortgage lender for its approval. ***********************************************************************************************************
A CALL to CAMRA Members for Issues and Concerns
TO ALL CAMRA MEMBERS:
It is important that CAMRA gather all of the issues and concerns of our members. As such we are soliciting input in the following 3 key areas, high impact, general well drilling/production and all other concerns. We would like to capture all of your inputs this week and will refine, synthesize and document these concerns before the commencement of detailed negotiations.
To voice an issue or concern, send an e-mail to me grady.walker@tx.rr.com , using the following “Subject Line”:
1) “HIGH IMPACT” – for issues and concerns specific to homeowners within a high impact well site area i.e. what might the entrance and exit points for specific well site be.
2) “GENERAL WELL DRILLING/PRODUCTION” – for issues and concerns specific to well drilling and production i.e. will mobile purification rigs be used during drilling within the city limits?
3) “GENERAL CONCERNS” – for all other issues and concerns not specific to items 1 and 2 i.e. can we have the Exploration company landscape “pigtails” with attractive landscaping
In the body of the e-mail indicate your physical address and then bullet your issue or concern.
We will place Chapter 3.1 from the City of Colleyville Land Development Code on our website. I would ask individuals with specific detailed questions to verify that the question is not or has not been addressed prior to submission. I want to remind everyone that at this time in our process many of the issues, questions and concerns can not or may not be able to be address. Many of the concerns may not come into play until the Exploration partner is determined or a well is permitted. Some of the concerns may be universal regardless of the Partner. I need for all e-mails to be received by end of day 25 April 2008. I will update everyone on what we learn as we move forward. Regards
Grady
